CELEBRATING ANOTHER RECORD YEAR: OUR 2025 HIGHLIGHTS

2025-12-10 09:28:45.0

What a year we’ve had here at BNP Paribas Personal Finance UK! From regional innovation to driving success with our motor finance division, moving into a new office and welcoming more customers than ever — 2025 may be our best year to date.

Our colleagues across the business have worked incredibly hard this year and before we head into the new year, we want to reflect on key moments that deserve some time in the spotlight.

AIR is where its at!

To kick off the year, we moved into our AIR building, a 25,000 sq. ft office space in the centre of Solihull in January. Our new HQ is now home to 600 colleagues and was designed to enable our team to perform at their best, with space to be collaborative and innovative.

The move also reflected our commitment to both the Solihull community and driving growth in the West Midlands, a decision based on forecasting where we needed to be based in order to meet our ambitious growth plans.

It also enabled us to further advance our environmental goals by reducing the impact of our office space and we’re pleased to share that we received the ISO 14001:2015 certification — an internationally recognised standard for environmental management systems (EMS).

It’s been great to see our colleagues gather and use this new space; we can’t wait to see what we’ll host at AIR in 2026…

Celebrating our people

Earlier this year, we launched our new internal Creating IMPACT awards to recognise our colleagues who go above and beyond and have been making a big impact to our business.

We gave out awards to colleagues and teams across BNP Paribas Personal Finance UK for various contributions, such as Bhupinder Dhaliwal for his achievement in building a forecasting tool to help drive business performance in pursuit of company goals.

A big congratulations to everyone who received an award, we can’t wait for 2026’s award season to begin.

And of course, what’s life at BNP Paribas Personal Finance UK without our monthly payday socials? Each month was different and involved vendors from the local community, including ice cream, Caribbean food, stone baked pizza, and a sports day themed summer social!

Making a positive impact

As part of the BNP Paribas' 1 Million Hours 2 Help programme, our colleagues have committed to giving back 1,000 hours to the local community by volunteering their time to support various charities and initiatives.

From delivering our “Leaders for a Changing World” programme in schools with Teach First to litter-picking across Solihull, it’s been amazing to see so many of our colleagues get involved and spare their time to make a positive impact.

Taking it up a gear with our motor finance division

This year, we expanded our partnership with CHERY International and supported their latest models’, the TIGGO 7 and TIGGO 8, entry into the UK market.

This builds on the success of our existing partnership with CHERY, one of China’s largest automotive manufacturers, which helped bring the OMODA and JAECOO brands to the UK, becoming among the fastest-growing brands worldwide.

But this wasn’t the final destination of our motor finance team’s journey this year, as we also announced that we’re supporting Changan’s entry to the UK market, strengthening our portfolio of Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs).

And if that wasn’t enough, the cherry on top of a brilliant year for the motor team was gaining national recognition for their achievements at the prestigious Credit Strategy Car Finance Awards where they were crowned Best Manufacturer Finance Provider!

Driving inovation in the West Midlands and beyond

In case you missed it, the Innovation Lab is back! Earlier this year we launched the third iteration of our FinTech incubator programme in collaboration with SuperTech WM and STEAMhouse.

Our cohort of FinTech businesses responded to this year’s challenge... How can we use Generative AI to enhance customer communications and insight to drive engagement, understanding and effectiveness?

After 17 weeks of innovation, we have seen some brilliant developments from our cohort. We’ve seen their journey from proof of concept to minimum viable product (MVP), and we’re looking forward to the programme’s final showcase just before Christmas.

Retail Peak

It’s the most wonderful time of the year!

At BNP Paribas Personal Finance UK, the busiest time of the year as we continue to support household names like Currys and millions of customers in really high volumes.

We turn big purchases into affordable payments, helping millions of customers buy what they need with confidence and control.

A big hello from us!

Did you know that we welcome a new customer every 22 seconds?

We’ve been in business for over 50 years and over the years, we’ve adapted and evolved our offering to provide our customers with the service they need, when they need it.

Our expertise in providing personal finance solutions paired with our commitments to thinking customer first has contributed to significant growth in our customer base in recent years — and there’s no sign of it slowing down.

Our commitment to thinking customer first

Thinking customer first is at the heart of everything we do and there are some key highlights that reflect this commitment.

Earlier this year, we welcomed our new Chief Operating Officer, Jon Betts, who is committed to deploying emerging technologies to streamline and improve the customer experience.

And this year’s iteration of the Innovation Lab focused on how generative AI can enhance customer communications, and we’re excited about the learnings we can take from the programme to improve how we interact with the customers we serve.

Transforming the customer experience

These commitments have led to some significant milestones for the team this year… So, ring the bell!

We’ve reach 2 million users on our Creation Finance App and over 100,000 reviews on our Trustpilot, with 88% being 5 star.

Both achievements reflect the fact that that everything we do is focused on meeting our customers’ needs, listening and acting upon their feedback, and ultimately, exceeding their expectations.

Our 2025 highlights are a testimony to the hard work being performed by colleagues across all departments, and we couldn’t be prouder to of what we’ve accomplished together.

Here’s to 2026!
