As part of its commitment to help bridge the gap between education and the workplace, BNP Paribas Personal Finance was proud to support Birmingham Young Professional of the Year 2017 (BYPY).

The prestigious event held at the ICC in Birmingham is BPS Birmingham Future's flagship event to recognise young talent in the region.  Now in its 17th year, the awards celebrate achievements of young people in the Business Professional Services sector across six categories: finance; HR; legal; marketing and communications; property and construction; and technology.

Lynda Brennan, Director of HR from BNP Paribas Personal Finance, a leading consumer finance business based in Solihull, was on the judging panel and was impressed by the exceptionally high standard of entries and the entrepreneurial spirit of the nominees.

As sponsors of the Marketing & Communications category, BNP Paribas Personal Finance was delighted to attend the awards and Lynn Montgomery, CMO, presented the award to Ria Blagburn, founder of start-up and tech marketing consultancy GrowBeyond.

BYPY is at the very heart of what BPS Birmingham provides to the city's business and professional services sector and BNP Paribas Personal Finance looks forward to continuing its work in supporting emerging talent in the region.
