BNP Paribas Personal Finance scoops sweet success

As temperatures soared after one of the hottest July's on record, the team at BNP Paribas Personal Finance chilled in the sunshine enjoying free ice cream for all.

Colleagues at BNP Paribas Personal Finance were delighted to receive an invitation to go outside and be greeted by a traditional ice cream van. Hired by the company to celebrate the arrival of three employees successfully completing a four day charity bike ride from the UK's office in Belfast to Head Office in Solihull, the surprise was a big hit. Joined by the mayor of Solihull, Joe Tildesley, people were all smiles enjoying the cooling treats in the summer sunshine, eagerly awaiting the arrival of the cyclists Nick, Noel and Kieran as they neared the final point of their journey.

So did the ice cream do the trick? “We like to have fun here and welcoming our cyclists who have made the tremendous commitment to cycle 1,000 miles altogether for very worthy charities through our Make A Difference programme brings our people together. We are all very proud of their achievement and what better way to celebrate than enjoying ice cream in the summer sun” comments Stephen Hunt, BNP Paribas Personal Finance's CEO.
