BNP Paribas Personal Finance has teamed up with TrustMark to offer its registered businesses and their customers a new range of finance options for work undertaken on the home.

The partnership will give homeowners access to the funds required to carry out work on their property – with prohibitive costs being considered as one of the leading reasons for installers missing out on jobs.

TrustMark is the only government endorsed quality scheme covering work a consumer chooses to have carried out in or around their home, such as boiler repairs or electrical work.

Initially, the new finance option will be available to its registered businesses in the heating, electrical, glazing, kitchens, bathrooms, audio visual, plumbing, conservatory, insulation and security sectors, though more will follow post-launch.

The finance options offer loans and spreading of payments for specific jobs up to the value of £25,000 and allow customers to spread the cost of work undertaken from three to 10 years. As is typical with BNP Paribas Personal Finance products, decisions on loan offers will be made swiftly and customers will be able to manage their accounts online.

Stephen Huller, Director of Home Improvement Finance at BNP Paribas Personal Finance said: “This is an exciting new partnership with TrustMark, which will enable us to support the best quality tradespeople with financing solutions that work for their business and helps them to grow further.

“Just like installers, we put the customer at the heart of all our services. That’s why we’ve adopted a digital first approach to business. Our new online tool, generating instant quotes and finance options, uses the latest technology to simplify the sales process and helps installers to get the job done.”

Simon Ayers, CEO of TrustMark, said: “By providing our registered businesses with access to finance solutions for their customers with monthly payment options, we can support them to grow their business, attract new customers, enable higher customer spend and improve productivity and performance.

“This development is recognition of our commitment to supporting small businesses and we are delighted to be working with BNP Paribas Personal Finance to provide businesses with access to ‘on the job’ digital tools and that will benefit their business growth.”
